Manage and perform the daily activities of the corporate accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivables, including appropriate approvals for purchasing, invoicing, journal entries and adjustment to the general ledger.
Prepare and submit Quarterly GST to IRAS.
Review monthly accounts with Director and management team.
Maintain the accounts in accordance with GAAP, IFRS and Singapore accounting standards and guidance.
Work together with various departments to develop short-term and long range planning through periodically forecasting and annual budgeting.
Document and monitors internal controls within the company.
Monitor and control the costs and expenditure against the budgetary limits.
Provide assistance with corporate governance matters.
Issue the monthly report for expenditure at each department consolidated data and individual monthly data.
Prepares financial and regulatory reports, GST and taxation matters.
Prepare and submit group consolidated financial results to associated companies (Singapore and Malaysia).
Manage and oversee the group of accounts, group consolidation of accounts (Singapore and Malaysia).
Monitoring and maintaining healthy cash flow and ensure company is of sound financial standing.
Work with senior team members to grow the business formulating strategies and plans.
Effectively manage expenses, working capital and cash flow; ensure that the Profit & Loss is accurate and statements are delivered to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
Administrate office agreements, and other office equipment on lease.
Work closely with Director on business planning for internal stakeholders and pitch materials to future investors. Take ownership of the financial presentation, dialog with investors to answer their queries.
Consult with corporate lawyer on legal issues within the group if Managing Director requested or approved.
Successfully helped the company in achieving sales target.
Provide support and review of monthly report for subsidiary office in overseas, office administration and finance structure for consolidation of accounts.
Implement internal controls measures that are in compliance with ISCA requirements.
Setup sales forecast method for sales achievement.
Maintain of company assets.
Ensure good inventory management in Singapore and Malaysia.
Handle and liaising of audit, taxation, GST, Forex risk and corporate secretarial matters for the group.
Solve transfer pricing issue with intercompany departments.
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance and CPA
Good knowledge in IFRS and GAAP is an advandage
At least 3-5 years of professional experience working in a capacity involving preparation of business plans, annual budgets, setting up financial control processes and reporting.
